Hometown

Around the end of september.
Clouds overlaid the distant mountains in evening after the rain.
The paths of my hometown, where I walked at brisk pace, watching
the ears of rice swaying in the wind.
The same old scenery and a changing self.
A peaceful time spent looking back.

9月の終わり。
遠く山々に雲が重なった雨上がりの夕時。
風に揺られる稲穂を横目に、足早に歩いた故郷の道。変わらないその景色と、変わりゆく自身の在り方と。思い返しながら過ごした穏やかな時間。
